Equipment Modifications for Rifts Europe

Due to my replacement of the MDC system, the statistics for weapons and armor in Rifts had to be changed. Here are my modifications.

Body Armor

A "Y" in the Env column indicates the armor can be environmentally sealed, while a "N" means it cannot be sealed. All environmental armors come with polarized light-sensitive/adjusting visor and a built-in directional short-range radio (5 miles), plus a computer-controlled life support with 5 hour air supply, and insulation against normal fire and heat up to 200 centigrade.

Melee Weapons

MISCELLANEOUS MANUFACTURERS

These weapons are being produced by black market shops and small, independent arms factories scattered throughout the world. Their quality and reliability vary widely.

Vibro weapons are particularly popular. For +2,500 credits, any edged weapon can be vibro enhanced, which doubles the damage dice and makes the weapon do Supernatural (SN) class damage.

Ranged Weapons

Under the "Rate" column, a value of Single means the weapon can fire aimed shots only, not bursts. A value of Semi means the weapon can fire either aimed shots or short burts and sprays, but not long or extended bursts and sprays. A value of Full means the weapon can fire aimed shots and any type of burst or spray. A value of Bursts means the weapon cannot fire an aimed shot, and the statisitcs apply to a short burst but a long or extended burst would use up proportionally more ammo and do more damage.

Pulse weapons often specify a specific damage when used in pulse mode. A pulse counts as a short burst for strike roll bonuses, but use the specified damage instead of the standard short burst damage modifier.
